Now I See

Acts 9:5

I was out walking with my family and my brother's family when they came to visit from England.

We walked thru a local park (tag tilles park) and I spotted this scene and knelt down to grab this shot.

I knew at the time it was going to be an awesome shot. But I didn't know it was going to end up serving so many tens of thousands of people around the world.

You just never know the impact you will have!

That's why Thank You Page Magic is changing the world for entrepreneurs.

He asked, “Who are you, Lord?” He replied, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.”

Acts 9:5, EHV

Saul, also known as Paul, was a zealous Pharisee seeking to protect the faith but did not know who it truly was that he was pursuing until he was met on the road seeking to destroy the lives of followers of Jesus in a movement called the Way. Saul didn’t know and didn’t understand until he was confronted by our Lord. He knew that Jesus was crucified and died. He had heard the rumors that Jesus disappeared from the tomb but believed it to be nothing more than a rebellious group standing against the Jewish faith. We can’t assume everyone understands our faith in Jesus Christ, some may see it as a threat to their way of life. When core beliefs are challenged, it produces a response. For those called by Christ, the response is more often transformative. Saul became a follower and called himself, the least of the apostles. Lives were changed by Paul and his witness still brings many to faith. We know his letters, but it was God who wrote them upon his heart just as our Lord writes the faith upon ours. When we are confronted by our Lord, He places faith in our lives. It is more than words, but a turning of the heart and a removal of blinders in our lives that reveals to us the true faith. When our eyes are made open, the Bible is unveiled, and we are given peace.

Let us pray. I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger, and I ask you to protect me this day also from sin and every evil, that in all I do today, I may please you. For into your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all that is mine. Let your holy angel watch over me, that the wicked foe have no power over me. Amen.
